day he just
Wandered
onto our street,

neighbors were thrilled,

him plenty to eat

make this my home,
Not
a bad place to stay..."
So,
Peter's our pet
No
trouble at all
We
love him all seasons,
Summer,
Winter, and Fall
But
Spring is especially great
That's
when Peter tries to date
His
feathers are beautiful
They
grow long & tall
But
poor Peter
Finds
no date at all
Altought
the thought of a plump meal worm
Might
make your stomach churn
I know
that Peter thinks that they're yummy
As
they descend into his tummy
